MKCAMP's 1st generation tailgate tent: Gen 1
The Gen 1 series tents are made of thick cotton fabric, providing better warmth for winter camping. They use YKK zippers and are available in only one color: beige. The weight of the single-room tent is approximately 30 kg (66 lbs), and the double-room tent weighs about 42 kg (93 lbs).

About Connected Cars: the Gen 1 tent attaches to the car's tailgate using a combination of partial zippers, Velcro, and elastic bands. This design ensures a snug and airtight fit with the vehicle, preventing insects from entering. When the car's air conditioning system is on, the tent area also enjoys comfortable heating or cooling, without the air escaping outside the tent.
However, a drawback is that if the car is separated from the tent, you must use our additional door curtain wall accessory to close the empty gap, allowing the tent to use independently of the vehicle.
The door curtain wall needs to be replaced on top of the tent by way of a zip.
-The interior space of the Gen 1 tent is integrated, with the waterproof fabric on the bottom connected to the material above. It is not possible to extend the rear part of the tent.
This is just a brief overview of the basic features of the Gen 1, but it's worth mentioning that the Gen 1 was loved by so many users that it became our best seller. The 1st generation was not quite as functional as the others, but the materials and build of the tent were top notch.
MKCAMP's 2nd generation update: Gen2
The Gen 2 tent is made from a lighter 210D thick oxford cloth, which will have a checkered surface, and the single room is only 23kg (50lb). The inside is silver coated which will allow less sunlight to penetrate into the tent, and compared to some of the Oxford cloth materials on the market, the materials used by mkcamp will definitely not make you feel that this is a cheap product.
The Gen 2 tent series includes a total of 4 models. In addition to the beige single-room, we offer a double-room option for customers who need more space.

The black model uses 300D blackout Oxford cloth, which prevents sunlight from disturbing you during early morning camping. The effective light-blocking feature allows you to continue sleeping comfortably. Door curtain wall Improvements：When connected to a Tesla or other compatible EV, the biggest improvement in the Gen 3 tent is that even when the vehicle is detached, the connection port immediate can still be closed.
